For this tutorial you need to have the PSENscan package installed.

sudo apt install ros-melodic-psen-scan

Creating the PSENscan application package

Navigate to your home directory and create a catkin workspace.

mkdir -p catkin_ws/src

Navigate into the catkin workspace and create a new package.

cd catkin_ws/src
catkin_create_pkg psen_scan_tutorials psen_scan

Build the workspace and source it (so it is known in the ROS environment)

cd ~/catkin_ws
echo "source ~/catkin_ws/devel/setup.bash" >> ~/.bashrc
source ~/.bashrc

The PSENscan application package is now ready to be filled with application specific needs.
